Following its launch at HANNOVER MESSE 2026, HIWIN’s new UR roller guide is now available for purchase. The UR series represents an upgrade of the tried-and-tested RG roller guide and has been developed for applications where every detail counts: from tool and special-purpose machine construction, through automated production lines, to precise guidance units for large components or solutions in heavy-duty handling.

With the UR roller guide, HIWIN aims to set new standards in precision and load-bearing capacity. Thanks to its optimised rolling element geometry, the UR heavy-duty guide ensures maximum load capacities and rigidity, as well as consistent running behaviour. According to HIWIN, it offers up to 34 per cent higher static load capacity, up to 19 per cent higher dynamic load capacity and up to 70 per cent longer service life. For users, this means higher machining performance, greater dimensional accuracy and improved surface finish – even under high loads.

The patented 360-degree lubricant distribution is designed to ensure that every single rolling element is optimally lubricated, even when mounted on a wall with oil lubrication. According to HIWIN, this increases process reliability, reduces lubricant consumption and ensures stable, long-lasting operation even under extreme operating conditions.

Dirt-resistant sealing systems provide additional protection for the roller guide. Integratable position measurement systems open up further automation possibilities, whilst a wide range of sizes, designs and carriage lengths guarantees maximum adaptability and flexibility. Whether as a flanged carriage or a flat or high-profile block carriage, in heavy-duty or super-heavy-duty versions: the UR series is designed to be precisely tailored to the respective requirements.
