EOS GmbH Electro Optical Systems, based in Krailling near Munich, is one of the world’s leading providers of industrial additive manufacturing technologies and has been a pioneer in industrial 3D printing using laser sintering and other generative processes since its founding in 1989. EOS develops and supplies 3D printers, materials, software, and process parameters that enable companies in the aerospace, medical technology, automotive, and other industries to manufacture complex components efficiently, flexibly, and cost-effectively.

At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, EOS will present its visions for the future of manufacturing. Under this year’s theme, “Industrial Transformation,” the company will demonstrate how additive manufacturing accelerates product development, reduces production risks, and makes supply chains more resilient and sustainable. At the EOS exhibition areas, visitors can experience live demonstrations, expert consultations, and practical applications—such as tool-free agile production, accelerated innovation cycles, and localized manufacturing. The focus will also be on powerful software and monitoring solutions that digitally connect 3D printing processes.

A special highlight in the EOS exhibition portfolio is the “EOS P3 NEXT” polymer machine. Compared to previous models, this industrial SLS 3D printing system is designed to enable a productivity increase of up to 50 percent, while simultaneously reducing total cost of ownership and achieving high material efficiency with up to 80 percent powder reusability. With a build volume of 340 x 340 x 600 millimeters and optimized software and hardware functions, the P3 NEXT is particularly suited for near-series polymer printing, such as for medical products, structural components, or consumer goods. Visitors to HANNOVER MESSE 2026 can experience the performance of this system as well as the wide range of polymer materials and digital workflows in action at the EOS booth.
