Vision Engineering Ltd. was founded in 1958 and has established itself as an international manufacturer of ergonomic microscopes as well as digital inspection and measurement systems. Headquartered in Woking (UK) and with a location in Emmering near Munich, the company serves customers worldwide. Vision Engineering is particularly known for eyepiece-free optical systems that promote a relaxed, ergonomic working posture and reduce fatigue.
With ProteQ VISO, the company has now expanded its portfolio to include a digital 3D stereo microscope that combines classic stereo viewing with modern screen technology. At its core is an autostereoscopic display that offers a true 3D view without the need for glasses or a headset. Two stereo cameras deliver Full HD images at 60 fps and enable a 10:1 zoom for detailed and overview inspections.
In addition, ProteQ VISO functions as a digital platform: images and videos can be captured, annotated, and shared; features such as picture-in-picture, measurement, and analysis tools support documented inspection processes and cross-site collaboration. The system is thus designed for applications in quality assurance, development, and regulated industries where precise 3D documentation is required.
