This year's Partner Country at HANNOVER MESSE is Poland. In the area of Research & Technology eastern Europe's economic powerhouse is displaying its innovative spirit on a 300 square meter space. Together with Polish research institutions and companies, the National Centre for Research and Development is presenting cutting-edge initiatives from science and technology. Visitors can look forward to topics such as innovative production, microelectronics, product design, and intelligent energy. In addition, Poland is also placing its bets on partnerships in the area of green technology.

In order to be a part of every leading trade show in Hannover, Poland's government, industrial associations, and academic institutions have come up with a joint concept. The appearance in Hall 2 is coordinated by the National Center of Research & Development (NCBR), an executive agency of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Together with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the NCBR supports a major bilateral loan program for sustainable development.
