The motion plastics experts at igus heard what their customers wanted: an economically affordable solution for use in environments with splashing water. The new robolink IP44 is ideal for this, because its connecting elements are made of rustproof V2 or V4 stainless steel and the joints are made of lubricant-free tribopolymers. Thus, it does not need lubrication in the joints and does not allow grease to leach into the environment. Advantage for the user: No expensive additional covering.
Further advantages are resistance to splashing water, load capacity of up to three kilograms, range of 790 millimeters, and it handles seven picks per minute. Thanks to motors with encoders of protection class IP65, it also works outdoors. Its application scenarios include the food and beverage industry, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and tank and container cleaning.
