Amazon Web Services (AWS) startups, MassRobotics and NVIDIA Inception have now announced the Physical AI Fellowship, a virtual program designed to help promising robotics startups build, refine and scale physical AI solutions. The first group in Fall 2025 includes some of the most promising startups working in physical AI and serving a variety of industries. During the program, fellows will work directly with scientists and engineers at the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center to refine their physical AI solutions.
Physical AI is becoming increasingly important for the development of complex hardware, especially in robotics. Providing advanced tools and support to startups is expected to help the AI-based robotics industry grow exponentially. At a time when the industry is vying to integrate automation, supporting startups in the field of physical AI ensures that innovation keeps pace with global demand and enables new breakthroughs in productivity, safety and operations across industries.
"Physical AI is bringing intelligent machines out of the lab and into the real world," said Tom Ryden, Executive Director of MassRobotics. "This grant provides hands-on support for robotics startups to build, validate and scale by combining AWS' leadership in AI, NVIDIA's accelerated computing stack, and our robotics expertise and network."
