Compact, robust, versatile and low-maintenance: this is how Düsseldorf-based Rollon GmbH characterises its new MiniRoller Rail from Rollon. The roller guide has been specially designed for light to medium loads and combines optimal running properties with an adaptable design, high reliability in dirty environments and the ability to self-align. This makes the MiniRoller Rail an efficient alternative to the miniature ball bearing guide for many applications. Unlike the latter, Rollon's new MiniRoller Rail has linear guides made of cold-drawn steel profile with induction-hardened and honed raceways and a steel or stainless steel slider with four rollers arranged in pairs. According to the manufacturer, the roller guides are characterised by a compact design, smooth and quiet movements and low weight, making them ideal for applications with moderate loads.

Versatile and powerful linear guide

The systems are capable of compensating for parallelism deviations of up to 0.03 millimetres. Slight assembly inaccuracies can thus be compensated for without any problems. Thanks to fewer holes and screws, this also means easier and shorter assembly times for the user, as well as a high degree of flexibility. The induction-hardened and honed raceways also guarantee maximum precision, maximum reliability, smooth running and a long service life. The large rollers also make the MiniRoller Rail insensitive to dirt and dust - ideal for use in dirty environments. Lifetime lubrication minimises maintenance requirements. Various high-performance surface coatings are available for higher corrosion protection requirements. In addition, a variety of other equipment extras are available on request, for example alternative materials or optional fastening elements.

An efficient alternative to the miniature ball bearing guide.

Thanks to its adaptable design, the MiniRoller Rail can be easily integrated into customised projects. With overall dimensions of 35 x 13 millimetres including the mounted slider, it is very compact and can therefore be used without any problems even in confined spaces. The length of the linear guide is 1,950 millimetres; longer versions are also available on request. Whether in the furniture industry, interior design, aerospace, food and beverage industry, medical technology, pharmaceuticals or packaging technology: according to Rollon, with the MiniRoller Rail, users get an efficient and reliable linear guide that, compared to the miniature ball guides often used, is said to be particularly convincing in terms of economy, low noise, installation effort and flexibility.
