Tech group Schneider Electric is now offering its new Industrial Digital Transformation Services for large industrial companies and SMEs. Production companies as well as plant and machine manufacturers are supported in the planning, implementation and use of Industry 4.0 technologies. The aim of the new services is to make the added business value of IIoT solutions understandable and quantifiable at all times. Initially, the focus is not on specific technologies or products, but on customers' individual requirements and market conditions. Instead of an approach focused on individual projects, a scalable, programmatic approach is taken to digital transformation that involves all departments and locations of a company.

Strengthening digitization as a core entrepreneurial competence

When it comes to implementing Industrie 4.0 technologies, the high complexity of the topic is cited as an important obstacle in numerous relevant studies. And this doesn't just mean the technical implementation. With its new Industrial Digital Transformation Services, Schneider Electric is therefore deliberately targeting the discovery phase. The first step is to develop a clearer understanding of the individual needs and benefits of Industrie 4.0 technologies based on the specific customer business and the respective market situation. In this way, entrepreneurial competence in terms of digitization is to be sharpened and the corresponding mindset for a digital transformation is to be established throughout the entire company.
