fm electronic gmbh is presenting itself at HANNOVER MESSE 2026 as a provider of holistic automation and digitalization solutions. The focus of the trade show presentation in Hall 27 (Booth D24) is a comprehensive portfolio of sensors, controllers, software, and IIoT applications designed to support companies in optimizing their production processes.

The Essen-based company, which develops and distributes systems and components for industrial automation worldwide, pursues an integrated approach “from the sensor to the IT level.” The goal is not only to collect process data but also to make it usable for higher-level analysis and optimization. In doing so, ifm builds on its role as a pioneer in Industry 4.0 development and addresses the growing importance of seamless data flows throughout the entire value chain.

A key focus of the trade show presence is the so-called “Sensor-to-Cloud” approach. This enables measured values from the field level to be seamlessly transferred to IT systems and evaluated there for efficiency gains, predictive maintenance, and quality improvements. Visitors will gain insights into how production facilities can be monitored in real time and how data-driven decisions can contribute to increasing productivity and resource efficiency.

In addition, ifm will showcase both the latest product innovations and established hardware and software solutions designed to ensure long-term system availability and reduce downtime. The applications presented are aimed at companies of various sizes and across different industries, and are intended to facilitate both the initial steps toward digital transformation and its scalable further development.

The trade show presence thus exemplifies key themes of HANNOVER MESSE 2026, such as digitalization, sustainability, and efficient resource utilization. In an environment where artificial intelligence and data-driven processes are becoming increasingly important, ifm positions itself as a partner for the implementation of networked, future-proof production systems.
