At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, Bechtle will demonstrate how companies can consistently and comprehensively shape the digitalization of their industrial value creation. The guiding principle of the trade show presentation is the intelligent integration of various dimensions of modern industrial digitalization. To this end, Bechtle brings together the expertise of various specialized units within the corporate group and, together with partners, presents practical application examples and innovations.

Bechtle is further expanding its presence at the world’s largest industrial trade fair and will be represented in 2026 by the companies Bechtle PLM Germany, Bechtle Additive Manufacturing Germany, Modus Consult, PSB Engineering, Bücker IT-Security, and several Bechtle IT system houses. At the Bechtle Group’s joint booth in Hall 17, Booth E20, visitors will discover an integrated portfolio spanning the fields of engineering, OT security & manufacturing, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and business integration. Bücker IT-Security will also showcase typical security-related challenges and solutions from real-world industrial projects at Hall 26, Booth F30.

Holistic Product Lifecycle Management forms the connecting backbone of modern product development. Based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, Bechtle PLM supports companies in consistently connecting product data, processes, and systems throughout the entire lifecycle. Experts in Hanover will demonstrate the latest advancements in AI-powered engineering, automated design processes, the Digital Factory, and industrial 3D printing. An immersive XR experience with Apple Vision Pro brings digital product development and the digital twin of manufacturing to life in a spatial context.

Connecting the digital world with the real production environment poses unique challenges for companies, both technically and from a security perspective. Bechtle addresses both: Through industrial-grade connectivity solutions and robust edge hardware, machine data is captured, processed in real time, and made available to higher-level systems. Secure remote access solutions enable location-independent maintenance and administration. At the same time, the digital security of Operational Technology (OT) takes center stage: Live demos illustrate attack scenarios on production environments and suitable protection and monitoring concepts.

Experts demonstrate how product data is kept consistent throughout the entire lifecycle using PLM and ERP systems, seamlessly integrated into commercial and operational processes, and utilized as a reliable basis for decision-making. With the Bechtle Index of Sovereignty (BIoS), the company is also introducing a new, software-based assessment that helps customers evaluate and strategically safeguard the digital sovereignty of their core processes.

Bechtle is also bringing a range of concrete application examples to HANNOVER MESSE in 2026. For instance, the Bechtle IoT Demo-Cube combines AI-powered quality inspection, connected logistics, and secure remote access solutions. The autonomous security robot from the Swiss startup Quarero demonstrates the use of private 5G networks for mobile systems in sensitive infrastructures. An industrial computer in a water tank impressively demonstrates the robustness of specific OT hardware under extreme conditions.

“The industry faces the challenge of not using digital technologies in isolation, but rather integrating them into a seamless value chain. At HANNOVER MESSE, we’ll show how Product Lifecycle Management orchestrates the interplay of artificial intelligence, digital twins, secure OT infrastructure, and integrated business processes,” says Uwe Burk, Executive Vice President of PLM, Engineering & Manufacturing at Bechtle.
