The German Design Award is the premium prize of the German Design Council. With a global spectrum and international appeal, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape across all industries. Since 2012, the German Design Award has been identifying, presenting to a broad public and awarding prizes to significant design trends. Every year, outstanding submissions in the fields of product design, communication design and architecture are honored. In a nomination process, expert committees of the German Design Council only invite products and communication design services to participate in the competition that have demonstrably differentiated themselves through their design quality. All awards are determined in a multi-stage judging process by an international jury of experts. The “Winner” award of the German Design Awards recognizes outstanding and exemplary design achievements in the context of a specific category.

The award for the E.FOX S 10 stripping machine in the category “Excellent Product Design – Workshop and Tools” honors not only the ergonomic design, but also the intuitive operation and functionality, which underline the efficiency and sustainability in conductor processing. “The smart E.FOX S 10 automatic wire stripping machine offers a future-oriented solution that significantly optimizes the work process,” the jury explained.
