The government has made one million zloty available for a program that will run from 12 January to 13 February 2017 and is designed to help small and medium-sized companies.

The program will be managed by the Polish agency for business development (PARP) and will involve varying contributions towards the total cost of trade fair participation. Polish companies can save as much as 50 percent. Under the EU de-minimis rules it is also possible to provide SMEs with 60 percent of the funds required, while micro-companies could save up to 85 percent of the costs.

Financial support will be provided for the cost of stand space, stand organization, consulting fees, travel, transport and insurance costs, as well as for the marketing fee charged by the trade fair organizer and the cost of participation in conferences, seminars and workshops.

Polish SMEs will also be able to take part in tailor-made marketing communication and advertising activities, e.g. the production and distribution of promotional materials such as gadgets, flyery, brochures and business cards. Other measures include advertising in print and online publications and the production of advertising spots.

More information about taking part in the program can be found on the PARP website: www.parp.gov.pl
