1. Who are you and where do you come from?
We are a deep tech spin-off from Saarland University. The BMWK (German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action) supported us as part of the Exist research transfer until the end of 2021. We transform our many years of research into commercial products. The resulting sensor and drive systems give robots, machines and objects reflexes and sensitivity.

2. Please briefly describe your product or solutions
Our solution is groundbreaking technology, our products diverse. The principle, based on a skin-thin foil, enables the construction of rubber-like sensor and drive systems that solve a multitude of customer problems. The systems are light, flat, energy-efficient and cost-effective. Our first products are smart force sensors for robot applications and intelligent displacement sensors for use on linear axes, rotating joints and in linkages for use in automation and agriculture. In all our products, we combine the technological advantages of the sensor with an integrated electronic circuit that carries out evaluations and can make spontaneous decisions directly on site.

3. What was or is your biggest challenge?
The pandemic has been one of the greatest challenges for all of us in recent times. Although we only founded this year in February, we have been working on the topic described for a long time. The sales cycles have increased due to the lack of personal contacts. In addition, scarcity in the field of microelectronics is a concern.

4. Which are your target markets/target groups?
With our products, we address integrators and users of robot applications, automation technicians and machine builders from all industrial sectors and agriculture. With our technology, on the other hand, which we can adapt to customer-specific problems, we address anyone who needs an advantageous and cost-effective force sensor, displacement sensor or linear drive, for example, for valves.

5. What are your goals at HANNOVER MESSE?
We want to present the benefits of our products and technology to potential customers and future partners. In addition to qualified leads, our goals are always interesting discussions with journalists, partners, investors, and the professional world. Because we are constantly looking for new, interesting and advantageous areas of application.
