1. Who are you and where do you come from?
We are a startup from Brixen, South Tyrol (Italy) that licenses AI-based visual inspection software to manufacturing companies, predominantly in the metal, plastics and packaging industries.

2. Please briefly describe your product or solutions
Our software automates and scales visual inspection and defect detection on metals and plastics in sectors such as construction, automotive, mechanical and electrical engineering, aerospace, and medical devices. We leverage “unsupervised machine learning”, which does not require expert engineers to label images or program software. As a result, cu
stomers can scale quickly from production line to production line.

3. What was or is your biggest challenge?
Our major challenge is convincing industry that this type of software solution requires a Software-as-a-Service business model (SaaS), which enables customers to benefit continuously from our latest advances in computer vision and machine learning.

4. Which are your target markets/target groups?
In the short term, we have focused on the metal, plastics and packaging industries, but we target the global manufacturing industry. Our customers include companies like GKN Sinter Metal, Alupress, and Aluflexpack. Currently we license our software mostly in Europe and the United States. We work with C-Level executives, quality control experts and engineers, and Innovation Managers.

5. What are your goals at HANNOVER MESSE?
