Sustained by ambition
Thomas Kleiner and Joachim Hartrumpf have developed KLEINER GmbH into a modern, technology-oriented company. In order to be fit for the future, the specialist for high-performance stamping tools and precision stamped parts is also increasingly facing the challenges of the future: digitalisation, automation, internationalisation and product innovation!22 Mar 2023
KLEINER GmbH has been growing continuously since it was founded in 1985 in Pforzheim and today combines its many years of experience in high-performance stamping tools and precision stamped parts with new technologies and developments. With its qualified employees, KLEINER develops and produces for the automotive, plastics, electrical, medical technology and electronics industries at its two locations in Pforzheim and Eisingen. The product portfolio ranges from micro-punched parts to snap domes and assembled punched grids, which replace the classic printed circuit board in many areas. In the field of renewable energies and electromobility, for example, KLEINER offers solutions for high-current contacting in photovoltaic systems, hybrid or electric vehicles. Other mainstays are the areas of contract work and contract manufacturing in toolmaking, design and product development for third-party companies as well as the construction of entire automation systems.
An example of the latter is the new KLEINER production cell. It combines technologies from tool and mould making, metrology and industrial robotics in a compact area for the fully automated production of various tool components. The individual components read like a Who's Who of machine manufacturers: an HSC 3-axis machining centre Makino IQ300 and Mikron MILL S 400 respectively, plus the high-precision die-sinking EDM solution AgieCharmilles FORM S 350, the coordinate measuring machines ZEISS DuraMax (tactile) and Alicona µCMM (optical), an Aqua Clean cleaning system and, last but not least, the central component that links everything into an automatic whole - the 6-axis assembly robot from FANUC. What KLEINER is capable of producing with such an ensemble will be shown by the company at HANNOVER MESSE 2023.
