T-Systems and Siemens cooperate on IIoT
The two companies are pooling their expertise. Their new Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) service also covers customer advice from a joint team of IIoT experts.

The two corporate heavyweights are to offer joint end-to-end solutions for IT and telecommunication s. Telekom subsidiary T-Systems will focus on its core competencies: 5G and NarrowBand IoT wireless network technology , campus network implementation, system integration services, and data analysis. Siemens will contribute with its open IoT operating system MindSphere , as well as automation solutions tailored specifically to the needs of the manufacturing industry and its experience in vertical industrial digitalization.
The cooperation involves the formation of a joint team of experts to provide customers with advice and practical support in the introduction of new technologies. The first application areas will include solutions for machine status monitoring, predictive maintenance, and digital fleet management.
