Salesforce is placing the practical application of AI in the manufacturing industry at the center of its presentation. Under the theme “The Agentic Enterprise for Manufacturing,” the company demonstrates how production, service, and sales processes can be made more efficient and intelligent using AI agents, connected data, and smart automation. The focus is on concrete use cases drawn directly from everyday industrial operations. In this way, Salesforce brings to life how digital connectivity translates into productive value creation.
A Single, Trusted Platform
At booth D63 in Hall 15, visitors can expect several showcases demonstrating how people, AI agents, and industrial systems are already working together today. The focus is on the Agentforce 360 industry solution for manufacturing, which brings together AI agents, data integration, and industry-specific processes on a single, trusted platform.
People and Agent-Based AI Working Hand in Hand
A key highlight at the booth is a scenario from the maintenance environment: Here, visitors can see how a service robot is integrated into a service process. Using Salesforce Field Service, the robot is scheduled for a service call, performs an initial inspection on a device requiring maintenance, and, after identifying the problem, hands the task over to a human employee. This illustrates how automated process steps, robot-assisted tasks, and human expertise can be combined into a seamless workflow. Especially in the service business, which is becoming increasingly important for many industrial companies, this creates new opportunities for efficiency, availability, and added value.
Enhancing Workplace Safety with Voice and AI
Another showcase focuses on the use of voice-controlled AI agents in manufacturing. It demonstrates how digital assistance systems can reduce errors, ensure process safety, and support manual work without interrupting the workflow. With the help of AI glasses, employees receive hands-free audio instructions in real time, are alerted to safety-related issues, and can simultaneously access instructions or process information. Visitors can test this application themselves, step into the role of factory workers, and follow the instructions of a voice-controlled AI agent.
Bringing Trustworthy AI to Life
In addition, guests at the Salesforce booth can configure their own AI agent without any programming knowledge. In short sessions, visitors will also learn how trust in agent-based AI is strengthened through the right technical and ethical guidelines.
