The Edge Datacenter, the first prefabricated data center of its kind, integrates cutting-edge sustainable construction techniques. Equipped with a DGNB Building Resource Passport, the facility significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to traditional data center construction. The project uses recyclable materials to align with circular economy principles that are in harmony with the United Nations’ sustainability goals.

A key feature of the Edge Datacenter is its Zero Emission Emergency Power Supply, powered by EODev’s advanced hydrogen and battery technology. The system comprises the GEH2® hydrogen fuel cell generator and the BESSTIE® battery storage system. The GEH2®, developed in partnership with Toyota, delivers 110 kVA of clean, emission-free electricity per unit, ensuring resilient and sustainable backup power solutions.
