This year's THE LÄND stand in Hall 12 at HANNOVER MESSE 2024 is being organized by the state agencies Baden-Württemberg International and e-mobil BW in cooperation with the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation. "We are facing the global challenge of designing real measures to combat climate change. The basis for successful implementation is a broad social consensus for the necessary efforts," says Franz Loogen, Managing Director of the state agency e-mobil BW. "At HANNOVER MESSE 2024, many exhibitors from Baden-Württemberg will be showcasing their innovative contributions in the fields of energy and digital technology, which also have strong economic prospects," Loogen continued.
Focus on networking
At this year's trade fair, the main focus is on networking, with The Länd talking about "Coming together. Creating opportunities." This is because around half of the 44 exhibiting companies and research organizations are part of the two cluster initiatives Electric Mobility South-West and Fuel Cell BW. Coordinated by the state agency e-mobil BW, the clusters bring together more than 400 members in their network and support the market ramp-up in Baden-Württemberg through project initiation, networking and knowledge transfer.
International cooperation
In addition to networking between domestic companies and organizations, international cooperation is a particularly important concern of the state agency e-mobil BW and the cluster initiatives it coordinates. For the third year in a row, THE LÄND is offering a special area at the joint stand where Finnish start-ups and partner networks will be exhibiting. Exhibitors from Baden-Württemberg can also look forward to making Canadian contacts. Organized by the Fuel Cell BW and Electric Mobility South-West clusters, the North American partner network Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) will be holding a networking happy hour at the joint stand in Hall 12 on 24 April. The trade fair appearance will be characterized by an extensive supporting program, which will take place at the stand in Hall 12 unless otherwise indicated.
