Albeit slowly, the age in which fossil fuels in particular have dominated the mobile scene is irretrievably drawing to a close. And ever since this development became foreseeable, experts have been arguing about how vehicles and airplanes should be powered in the future. Some are fully committed to a battery solution, while others continue to favor pure hydrogen in combination with fuel cells. As is so often the case, the truth may lie somewhere in the middle. After all, both technologies have their advantages - and, above all, a whole range of overlaps. And what is ideal for a passenger car is far from ideal for a container ship. So things will remain exciting for some time to come. As exciting as HANNOVER MESSE 2022, because the topic of "future energy sources" will once again occupy a large space there this year.

The British company Haskel, for example, is exhibiting a model of a turnkey hydrogen filling station in Hannover and sees it as nothing less than the new standard for hydrogen refueling of large vehicle fleets. Haskel certainly knows what it is talking about. With nearly 75 years of experience, the British company is the world leader in high-pressure fluid management. They design and manufacture a range of solutions that enable the controlled use of high-pressure systems and flow-generating equipment, including pumps, gas boosters, air boosters and packaged systems. So it makes sense for this technology to support the global refueling infrastructure for hydrogen mobility.
