In 2011, just as tranquil Riedhausen was crowned the municipality with the youngest average inhabitants in Germany's Baden-Württemberg region, the area also saw two experienced mechanical engineers found Multec GmbH. Specializing in the developing, manufacture and sale of high-quality 3D printers, the two founders succeeded in quickly establishing their products on the market. What's special about the printers in the Multirap series are their openness to new developments that can be easily retrofitted and upgraded. The components come mainly from Germany, and if possible from the local region itself. The company is at HANNOVER MESSE 2017 with live demonstrations to premiere their new M800 industrial 3D printer with patented print head and to unveil the Multirap M420, which recently came top in consumer testing. The Multex2Move and Multex4Move multi-nozzle print heads are also being debuted and demonstrated.

The focus at the isel Group’s stand is likely to be on the M800, fitted with the Multex2Move print head. The Multex2Move, which can process two different inks or materials into a print object with uniquely clean results, is already available for immediate delivery, with the innovative Multex4Move four-nozzle print head following in the summer. Multex2Move and Multex4Move support both the existing Multirap range, such as the M420, and the new industrial 3D printers, where the potential can be harnessed even more intensively thanks to the higher print speed. Versions for upgrading third-party printers are also planned.
