Users with complex metering requirements have to come to grips with complex metering systems and all the drawbacks they bring. That, at least, has been the case until now. Indeed, to even stand a chance of enjoying fast availability, easy startup, flexibility and low costs, customers have had to have straightforward metering needs. ProMinent GmbH, based in Heidelberg, Germany, has been manufacturing components and systems for metering liquid substances for over 50 years and is now set to revolutionize the sector with a new metering system. The DULCODOS universal system being unveiled at HANNOVER MESSE 2017 is the perfect response to users’ needs.

The new metering system has undergone extensive development and is preconfigured with all essential components, while the pipework and all parts in contact with the metering medium are manufactured using compatible materials. To meet specific customer demands, the system can be configured for one or two points of injection and controlled using a new type of valve block or one or two pumps customized for the specific application. And as metering ultimately depends on the pump, and flexibility is always a key requirement, customers can choose between a Beta 4 or 5, delta or gamma/X solenoid-driven metering pump, as appropriate to the application. Depending on the choice made, the DULCODOS universal offers a flow rate of between 2.3 millimeters and 75 liters an hour with a backpressure of 10–2 bar.
