The newly developed robot-based order picking for small parts has proven to be efficient, reliable, and extensive, according to the manufacturer, Element Logic Software. It reduces operating costs dramatically and can be combined with any warehousing software. Different articles are reliably recorded and positioned. The accuracy of order picking is guaranteed, despite the speed of execution. Element Logic promises its customers noticeable competitive advantages and considers its field of application to be far beyond intralogistics and order picking.
The system works with a collaborative robot arm from RightHand Robotics and is always using machine learning. The multi-functional grabber has multiple fingers and a suction pad that functions individually or in combination depending on the product. Cameras record the locations of parts, and the integrated graphic processing is designed for large data volumes. The robot is designed to be able to work with people and independently. The order picking system is fitted with the warehousing solution AutoStore .
