Innovative FLIR EX thermal imaging cameras are incomparably easy to use and evaluate
Share
Thermal imaging cameras, like so many technical discoveries, were first developed for the military. Still, the thermal imaging cameras developed during the Korean War have almost nothing in common with today’s versions. New technological developments and plummeting procurement costs have also greatly expanded the application range for the devices, particularly in the civil sector. Belgian company FLIR Commercial Systems is presenting the very latest in thermal imaging cameras at HANNOVER MESSE 2014 with its FLIR EX line.
FLIR Ex cameras can also be viewed as an affordable alternative to IR point pyrometers that measure not just the temperature of a single point, however, but of every individual pixel in a recorded image. Thanks to its unique and innovative MSX® image storage, which overlays and combines the infrared and digital images, FLIR EX models offer incomparable ease of use and of image evaluation. They are thus particularly suited to new users of thermal imaging technology. The cameras can be operated nearly intuitively and are delivered with complete instructions as well as reporting and analysis software.
