The company, based in Hessen, has just announced the release of Origin and OriginPro 2025, its proven data analysis and graphics software. According to ADDITIVE, the new versions expand the range of functions by more than 100 new and improved features. The new features include analysis and styling features for charts, new user interfaces for browsing files and for batch processing, and customized report styles. The collection of chart types, templates, and apps has also been expanded again.

One of the highlights of the new versions is the data filter, which provides an easy way to explore and compare data by applying filters directly to graphs without modifying the source data in the worksheet. In addition, the 2025 versions further expand time series analysis with the new “Pivot for Time Series” option. This allows data to be summarized in various ways according to date or time intervals and periods. Origin 2025 also comes with new user-defined report and diagram styles that can be selected at will to quickly and easily change the appearance of your own reports and diagrams.
