VINCI Energies, the international system integrator, is ringing in the dawn of a new era in industry through its industrial brand Actemium and ICT brand Axians: At HANNOVER MESSE 2025, visitors can immerse themselves in the “Data Driven Industry” live through numerous innovative best practice cases. At their 104-square-meter stand (Stand G18) in Hall 15, Actemium and Axians will be demonstrating how industry is becoming more productive, efficient, connected and energy-efficient while also being protected against unauthorized access thanks to digital solutions. The on-site point of contact is a multinational team that not only represents the extensive network of VINCI Energies and its brands, but also embodies their diverse international character.

Uncompromisingly data-driven

With comprehensive solutions for industrial connectivity, the ICT experts from Axians are igniting the next stage of data-driven industry: a wide range of services in the area of OT connectivity are designed to create a strong foundation by securely and efficiently networking industrial production. These also include the Cisco Private 5G & Wireless for Industry offering. This provides industrial companies with customized 5G and Wi-Fi solutions for a high-performance and reliable communication network from the warehouse to the shop floor. Numerous managed services – from cloud and data center infrastructure to business applications and SAP, and from enterprise networks to cybersecurity – ensure that productivity is maximized. The fact that a data-driven industry also leads to greater climate protection is underscored by eNATURE, a versatile new sustainability tool from Axians. This tool calculates live CO2 emission balances. Examples from industrial customers show how CO2 data can be mapped onto real material flows.

Security is the top priority

With increasing networking and data collection and in view of the NIS2 directive, the issue of cybersecurity must also be given top priority. Axians and Actemium offer targeted security analyses by means of comprehensive pentesting in an industrial environment: simulated attacks – both digital and physical – test the OT environment for possible weak points in order to eliminate them afterwards. The Industrial Guardians service impresses with holistic concepts for OT security that meet the requirements of customer-specific infrastructures: Axians and Actemium have combined their expertise to offer seamless and customized industrial cybersecurity that is always up to date – from the initial analysis of the infrastructure of industrial plants to customized planning and development and full implementation.

Experience it live and try it out for yourself

In addition to the solutions mentioned, visitors to the stand can personally get to know and test further exciting best practice cases. For example, a demonstrator for the process industry from Actemium shows how to successfully integrate and communicate different process control systems. Comprehensive remote maintenance is also part of this: a camera system monitors control cabinets, container systems, pumps and measurement technology, as well as people in the vicinity of the plant. On the one hand, this automatically detects anomalies in the sense of predictive maintenance. On the other hand, warnings increase shop floor security when people are in the security area – especially if they are not wearing personal protective equipment. Thanks to edge computing and AI, the images are evaluated directly on the camera. The results are transmitted directly to the user or sent to a PCSneo interface.

Training for various scenarios at the exhibition stand

At the stand, visitors can experience live how the overall occupational safety of industrial employees can be significantly improved. With infinity, Actemium has developed a mobile virtual reality (VR) solution for training in a variety of scenarios. In addition to safety exercises such as how to use a fire extinguisher or how to secure a hazard, VR glasses and controllers can also be used to rehearse how to operate machines and systems – completely safely and, if desired, on virtual images that correspond exactly to the real model after a 3D scan at the customer's site.

Eye-catcher made of building blocks

A real eye-catcher that makes digitalization tangible is the Lego model of a complete industrial plant. From waste disposal and a railway line with a construction site, to a high-bay warehouse and a 5G transmission mast, to an IT/OT security operations center, the model presents various use cases from the Axians portfolio. Visitors can immerse themselves in the various application scenarios and thus gain a comprehensive insight into the production of the future. Hendrik Kahmann, Head of Innovation at Axians Germany, will guide you through the model and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
