The most comprehensive service and maintenance package from Ingersoll Rand to date, the CARE Suite aims to boost the reliability of the compressors used in a plant while simultaneously driving down overall operating costs. "The industry is constantly searching for ways to make machinery more reliable, lower energy consumption at the same time – and thus satisfy ever increasing demands in terms of compliance, cost-efficiency and customer requirements," explains Eric Seidel, Vice President of Product Management for Compression Technologies and Services at Ingersoll Rand. "Being able to rely on the availability of compressed air and optimum-quality compressed gases is crucial for any company that wants to compete in this sector and stay profitable."
Since compressed air plants can be in use for decades, Ingersoll Rand wants to use its wide-ranging service program to help minimize downtimes and deliver targets for reliability and energy consumption. Alongside the CARE Suite, Ingersoll Rand will also be unveiling the next-generation R-Series RS200 and RS250 oil-flooded rotary screw compressors to the international audience in Hannover. The brand new, cutting-edge compressors of the advanced R-Series are designed to deliver an increase of 15 percent in energy efficiency over previous models. The RS200 and RS250 feature fixed and variable speed options and are also configured as standard to offer higher energy efficiency and maximum uptime for high-capacity compressed air needs.
