With newly developed profile linear units made of aluminium profiles with a square cross-section of 30 and 50 millimetres, Normteilefabrik Otto Ganter from Furtwangen is facilitating the construction of automated packaging systems, conveyor belts and handling systems. Wherever heights, widths and formats need to be positioned, adjusted and aligned, the robust and low-backlash slide-bearing profile linear units can demonstrate their strengths.

According to Ganter, the slides made of anodised aluminium can be positioned with an accuracy of 0.2 millimetres. The polyamide plain bearings ensure a long service life with minimal guide play, while lateral wedge profiles guarantee their immovable clamping. A continuous cover strip reliably protects the interior of the linear unit from dirt, dust and other contaminants, ensuring smooth operation even under demanding environmental conditions.

Depending on the space available, the load and the requirements, designers can choose between several variants of profile linear units: the 30-millimetre cross-section for lighter applications and the 50-millimetre cross-section for all heavy-duty applications. You can also choose between two carriage lengths and whether two carriages can move in opposite directions on the carrier profile cross-section. Coordinated accessories such as hand wheels and mechanical or electronic position indicators enable the elements to be adjusted quickly and precisely.
