Will trade fairs become more digital and hybrid in the future?

Deutsche Messe is organizing a digital event for the first time. What awaits participants?
We have organized an exciting conference program with top speakers, live discussions and product presentations. What makes it special is that all of it really takes place live and gives participants the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with each other during the event. Our lead theme “Industrial Transformation” has grown enormously in importance due to the corona pandemic. We want to provide guidance and show market participants ways out of the crisis. In addition, we are enabling our exhibitors to present themselves with their products and solutions in the absence of the physical trade fair, thus fostering an exchange within the industrial community.
What are the focal points?
The digital event’s is based on HANNOVER MESSE, so it is all about industrial transformation, automation, energy, and logistics with a focus on topics such as Industrie 4.0, digital platforms, AI, 5G, and hydrogen and fuel cells.
How exactly can one visualize the conference?
We are very proud that our conference, with the exception of a few product presentations, really is live. This means that participants can use Q&A tools to ask questions or make suggestions in real time. These then flow through the moderation into the live sessions, which consist of lectures, panel discussions and product presentations.
Will trade fairs become more digital and hybrid in the future?
We clearly see this development coming towards us, which is why we look forward to our first digital event. We will then be able to evaluate the results and develop it further with full commitment. I invite all interested parties to look at the diverse program. By the way, participation is free of charge.
