The island nation has the goal of becoming one of the world’s top ten economies by 2030. By 2020, Indonesia plans to become the biggest digital economy in Southeast Asia. The country launched the initiative "Making Indonesia 4.0" to revitalize manufacturing with the introduction of Industrie 4.0 concepts.

H.E. Thomas Trikasih Lembong, chairman of BKPM (Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board), presented the Partner Country logo in the presence of a representative from Partner Country Sweden, Camilla Mellander, Deputy Director-General and Head of Department for Trade Promotion, Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

With more than 160 companies, Sweden presents itself until Friday as an industrial powerhouse in northern Europe and a pioneering region for innovation.
