Following the successful debut of the first Industrial Energy Efficiency Award in April 2019, providers and users of energy efficiency solutions from the manufacturing and energy sectors are invited to submit their entries for this year's award. New in 2020: special prize for start-ups

Hannover. The application period for this year's Industrial Energy Efficiency Award ends on 21 February. The award is aimed at companies around the world which either provide or use energy efficiency solutions. New this year will be a special prize for start-ups that are involved in industrial energy efficiency projects.

All entries will be assessed by a high-caliber jury of experts. The award ceremony will held on 21 April 2020 at HANNOVER MESSE.

"The many entries we received for last year's Industrial Energy Efficiency Award, which came from global corporations as well as local SMEs, testify to the importance of the subject matter across all countries and industries," commented Martin Ammon, EuPD Research's Managing Director and the Project Manager of the Industrial Energy Efficiency Award.

As the world's leading industrial technology show, HANNOVER MESSE has a responsibility to provide a special platform for innovative energy efficient solutions, which is why we created the Industrial Energy Efficiency Award," added Ulrike Hammer, Senior Project Director Energy Solutions within the HANNOVER MESSE team.
