Shanghai/Hannover. PTC ASIA, the leading tradeshow in Asia for power transmission and fluid technology, kicks of its thirtieth anniversary celebration during its 3–6 November 2020 run at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). The keynote theme, "Driven to be Smart", encompasses the main exhibit categories of electrical power transmission, mechanical power transmission, fluid technology, bearings, traffic engineering, and services.

PTC ASIA covers a display area of 100,000 square meters and hosts more than 1,000 exhibiting companies, including familiar names such as Bonfiglioli Drives, Bremskerl, Bucher Hydraulics, DMH Dichtungs- und Maschinenhandel, Elettrotec, Exmar, Maedler, Maschinenfabrik Mönninghoff, Mayr Power Transmission, MTS Sensors, NKE, Regal Power Transmission Solutions, and Ringspann. China, Germany, Italy, and Korea are staging country pavilions.

The German Mechanical Engineering Association (VDMA) is once again staging the Smart Manufacturing Forum, where representatives from companies such as Argo-Hytos, Bosch Rexroth, ifm electronic, Lenze, Pepperl + Fuchs, and Weidmüller discuss topics including automation, industrial transformation, logistics, and the economic state of industry. Additional conferences, networking events and special displays round out the PTC ASIA program. PTC ASIA will also launch online guided tours in 2020 for overseas buyers who are unable to attend the event in person but want to find suppliers in China.

ComVac ASIA (compressed air and vacuum technology) and CeMAT ASIA (materials handling and logistics) run parallel to PTC ASIA. Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai, the joint subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG and Fiera Milano, stages the trio of events, which covers 190,000 square meters and features roughly 2,000 exhibiting companies. The company expects more than 100,000 visitors in 2020.
