Successful restart for industrials shows in China
Deutsche Messe and its subsidiary Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. staged the first major industrial fair at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) since the pandemic-induced break that began last year.

Hannover/Shanghai. Deutsche Messe and its subsidiary Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. staged the first major industrial fair at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) since the pandemic-induced break that began last year. From 26 to 29 October, approximately 3,000 companies – including well-known brands from all over the world – presented their latest products and solutions from the fields of drive and fluid technology, intralogistics, and compressed air and vacuum technology. Collectively, the three events accounted for 220,000 square meters of display space.
PTC ASIA – Asia's leading trade fair for drive and fluid technology – recorded 1,500 exhibitors itself, including well-known names such as HYDAC, ARGO-HYTOS, HAWE, SEW, Lenze, Schaeffler and Timken.
CeMAT ASIA is by far the leading intralogistics trade fair in Asia. Many companies have been exhibitors for years, including international companies such as Dematic, Swisslog, SSI Schäfer, Honeywell, Interrol, ABB, Fanuc, HAI ROBOTICS, Bito, Pepperl + Fuchs, SICK, Siemens, ifm, Weidmüller or Panasonic. This year, roughly 800 companies presented their products and solutions for fully digitalized and automated logistics processes.
With around 300 exhibitors, ComVac ASIA has grown steadily over the past 15 years. Well-known exhibiting companies from around the world include Atlas Copco, Quincy Compressor, Jaguar Compressor (East Asia Machinery), Gardner Denver and B&D. In addition to climate-friendly and oil-free compressors, many companies also presented energy-saving and highly efficient compressed air solutions.
Roughly 90 congresses, forums, seminars product presentations rounded out the program.
The next edition of PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA and ComVAC ASIA runs from 1 to 4 November 2022 in Shanghai.
