Hannover/Istanbul. WIN EURASIA 2021, which ran from 10 to 13 November at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul, was the first-ever hybrid industrial trade show in Turkey. Roughly 550 companies from 16 countries presented their products and solutions to more than 30,700 visitors from 78 countries. Industrial transformation was the lead theme.

Ismail Gülle, chair of TİM (Turkish Exporters' Assembly), said, "The return of fairs after the pandemic generates business activity and shows how commercial conditions have changed around the world. Turkish machinery exports have increased 30 percent so far, which means that trust in Turkish manufacturers and products has grown."

The Turkish Ministry of Trade organized a delegation program for more than 250 buyers from Turkey's target export partners, including Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Morocco, Qatar, Russia, and Tunisia. In addition, Turkish chambers of commerce and industry bussed in delegations from 30 Anatolian cities.

The digital component of WIN EURASIA featured virtual 3D product presentations as well as video-conferencing and online chat functions. The Digital Pavilion at the exhibition center enabled on-site visitors to conduct virtual meetings with digital exhibitors.

WIN EURASIA's conference was also hybrid, so speakers and audience members could participate on-site or virtually. The program included 30 panels, 51 brands and 61 speakers. Approximately 2,650 industry professionals participated digitally. One highlight was the panel Society 5.0, which emphasized the importance of adapting to technology. Autonomous machines and robots will account for 60 percent of the world's productivity within the next decade, but humans can still compete with emotional intelligence and creativity. Society 5.0 should be positioned between technology and humans.

Hannover Fairs Turkey, Deutsche Messe's subsidiary in Istanbul, organizes WIN EURASIA. The next event runs from 8 to 11 June 2022 at the Istanbul Expo Center.
