Hannover. The Industrial Supply show at this year's HANNOVER MESSE will be easier to navigate than ever. The organizers have both enhanced the online product search tool and fine-tuned the Industrial Supply showcase, itself. Their sole objective: To make it even easier for users to find exactly what they are looking for, both when preparing for their visit and on site. Industrial Supply, the world's premier event for innovative subcontracting solutions, will occupy halls 4, 5 and 6 at HANNOVER MESSE 2017. The search tool on the HANNOVER MESSE website now allows for searches by theme cluster, making it even easier for visitors to discover everything on offer.

"Whether visitors are interested in materials, R&D, construction or processes – the exhibitors at Industrial Supply have the right solution for every conceivable need. However, the sheer scale of the show can also be daunting, which is why we are doing everything we can to facilitate the solution-seeking process," explained Olaf Daebler, Deutsche Messe's director in charge of the Industrial Supply and Surface Technology shows.

Besides the new online search category for "Industrial Supply themes", hall maps, floor graphics and large cube-shaped signs suspended from the ceiling also make it easy to zero in on all the right providers.

There are a total of eight theme clusters to choose from. The "Lightweight construction" theme cluster comprises non-ferrous products, smart materials and steel and ferrous materials. Other theme clusters include "Machined parts" and "Surface technology." The "Sheet metal forming and forging" theme cluster comprises Assemblies and Metal Structures, and Metal Parts Formed without Cutting. The "Casting products" theme cluster covers the full range of original formed parts (casting, sintering), while "Ceramic parts" comprises all the latest parts and components made from ceramic materials. The "Subcontracting components & parts" cluster features products made from plastic, rubber and other nonmetal materials. Joining & fastening systems will all be located in the "Fastening technology & operating elements" cluster.

Exhibitors classify their solutions in accordance with the Deutsche Messe product index and are then assigned to the most appropriate cluster. The exhibitor index, which can be accessed and searched via the HANNOVER MESSE website, is continually updated.
