WHO WE ARE
AIMMAP - Associação dos Industriais Metalúrgicos, Metalomecânicos e Afins of Portugal (see Statutes), founded in 1957, is a national, non-profit, public utility employers association since 1996, having been awarded the Order of Business Merit, Class of Industrial Merit, in 2017, by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Our Mission is to represent, internally and externally, companies in the metal and metalworking sector, contributing to their dynamism and promotion.
Our Goals are support to metal and metalworking industry in the areas of innovation, training, internationalization and cooperation.
And it was within the scope of its Mission and for the fulfillment of its Objectives that it promoted the creation and launch of the registered trademark METAL PORTUGAL, which contributed to launch the sector to a higher level, of qualitative perception and vision of the future.
