FH Westküste is a young and modern public university in Schleswig-Holstein. Founded in 1993, it can look back on rapid growth despite its relatively short history and has established itself as a permanent fixture in the university landscape. We are committed to the profile of a university of applied sciences and see ourselves as innovative, personal and dynamic. Almost 1,900 young men and women from the region, Germany and abroad are currently studying at the campus in Heide. With around 200 employees, the West Coast UAS is also one of the largest employers in the region.
The West Coast UAS combines two faculties (Business and Engineering) with a diverse range of Bachelor's and Master's degree courses. All courses are geared towards the requirements of the job market. The university cooperates closely with the regional economy and maintains numerous national and international relationships, including with 40 partner universities worldwide.
