GBE Spa is an Italian company specializing in the production of resin and dry insulated transformers from 100 kVA up to 30 MVA in all voltage classes up to 52 kV (BIL 250 KV), oil transformers from 100 kVA up to 50 MVA and 145 kV (BIL 750 kV), air, resin and oil insulated reactors with and without magnetic cores from a few kVAR up to 10 MVAR, and amorphous core transformers from 100 kVA up to 2500 kVA.
The GBE Group has four plants in the same industrial area in Italy. The headquarters has offices distributed over two floors for a total of 1200 square metres of surface area and manufactures cast resin and oil power transformers and reactors. Oil transformers up to 6300 kVA are manufactured in a separate plant in order to manage the product better and optimize it. The metalwork for producing all mechanical semi-finished products such as lamination clamps, casings and tanks is carried out in two other adjacent plants.
