The Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH) gGmbH considers production holistically. Our guiding question since the foundation is: How can we network all areas of production technology with each other? From Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), our topics developed towards Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence.
The IPH staff deals with all areas of a factory in an interdisciplinary way: starting with logistics, which networks all processes with each other, through production automation, the cooperation of machines with each other, to the production of individual components in process technology.
The IPH focuses on research in the field of production technology and provides consultancy services to industrial companies and education to young academics in engineering sciences. The IPH was founded as a spin-off of Leibniz Universität Hannover in 1988. To this day, three professors of the university manage the IPH as a non-profit limited company.
