The Plattform Industrie 4.0 plays a major role in shaping the digital transformation in production. More than 400 actors from over 200 organizations, including politics, economy, science, trade unions, and associations, actively participate in the platform. As one of the largest international and national networks, the Plattform Industrie 4.0 supports German companies in implementing Industrie 4.0. This is achieved mainly by making existing Industrie 4.0 use cases known to companies, opening perspectives and bringing them to a broad audience. Additionally, the platform provides important impulses by offering concrete recommendations for action in over 200 specific publications, and by referring to support services and test environments. The platform's numerous international partnerships highlight its significant role in global discussions about Industrie 4.0.
