Since January 1, 2023, the University of Kaiserslautern and the University in Landau form the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). The RPTU is the technical university of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate with over 20,000 students, more than 300 professorships and around 160 degree programs.
As a place of top-level international research and for academic talent development, we offer excellent working conditions and career opportunities. In research, we combine expertise in engineering and natural science with emphases in social sciences in order to make scientific contributions to the transformation processes of society and the economy, especially on topics of sustainability, digitalization and education.
