Our professorship works in research and teaching in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic drives, controls and regulation. In research and teaching, close co-operation has been established with companies that manufacture or use fluid technology products. We offer students a scientific education in hydraulics and pneumatics. Practical relevance of the subject matter is also ensured through the involvement of company representatives in parts of the teaching.
The team is well organised in terms of expertise and personnel:
Academic staff from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics work on current research tasks. They are supported by scientific and student assistants as well as non-scientific employees.
In terms of research and teaching, the professorship is primarily involved in the two degree programmes Mechanical Engineering (‘Integrated Resource-Efficient Product Creation’ cluster) and Mechatronics.
