Hydrogen Decarbonization Alliance for Steel (Hydeas) is an initiative founded by Green Energy Park (GEP) and Vale to assess pathways for large-scale decarbonization of the global steel sector, including the evaluation of an open, partnership-based platform in Brazil to support future low-carbon DRI production.

GEP develops large-scale renewable hydrogen and green steel infrastructure to enable a net-zero industrial value chain. As a hydrogen specialist, GEP designs and operates gigawatt-scale facilities using advanced technologies to achieve cost leadership, accelerating the energy transition and hydrogen economy.
