The sustainable ECO-Products² are environmentally friendly plastic injection moulded parts made from 100% recycled materials, whose production reduces plastic waste and at the same time conserves natural resources. Due to the increasing environmental awareness and therefore the demand for sustainable products, ECO-Products² have emerged from the ecological awareness of Burwinkel Kunststoffwerk. The sustainability strategy is strengthened by the participation in the ZIM cooperation network RECOMPOUND. RECOMPOUND is a network for the material recycling and processing of mixed plastics to high-quality plastic granulates, which are used for the production of new, technically demanding products and applications.
Under the sustainability program ECO-Products² the injection moulder Burwinkel Kunststoffwerk with more than 100 injection moulding machines bundles the projects "ECO-CAPS²" (caps and plugs made of 100% recycled plastic materials - LONACAP® protective elements), "ECO-CHAIN²" (conveyor chains encapsulated with regenerated plastic material, which are used for the transport of solid media) and "ECO-TEC²" (technical plastic parts, such as e.g. plastic pallets, deflection corners or consoles made of processed and high-quality plastic granules).
