Engineers Without Borders - KIT e.V.
Student engineering projects in development cooperation worldwide
Exhibitors
Description
One example of the diverse student involvement at KIT: for 20 years, the university group Engineers Without Borders has been working with local partners to implement various engineering projects in economically, socially or politically disadvantaged regions in order to create new prospects for the population. To date, a total of 1,500 members have implemented almost 40 projects in 13 countries and collected 2.5 million euros in donations. The projects focus on education, water, energy, health and infrastructure. KIT supports EWB with knowledge, advice and inspiration.
