Canadian robotics innovator, Maple Advanced Robotics Inc. (MARI), has been awarded the prestigious Hannover Messe ROBOTICS AWARD 2025—recognizing its leadership in intelligent, scalable automation solutions. This global accolade highlights MARI’s contributions to advancing robot-assisted automation in manufacturing and logistics.
The award-winning technology, Adaptive Autonomous Robotic System (AARS), was developed in collaboration with Magna’s Stronach Centre for Innovation, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto, and Toronto Metropolitan University. AARS is designed for manufacturers requiring flexible automation without high capital investment or specialized robotics expertise. Using AI, 3D vision, and collaborative robotics, AARS dynamically generates robot paths, enabling seamless adaptation to changing product mixes and unstructured shop floor environments.
