The research landscape of Lower Saxony brings innovations to the coast to generate energy for the country.
Jade University and the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) are working on innovative approaches for sustainable production and optimal utilization of hydrogen: from generation, through transportation, to efficient combustion.
Innovative approaches address critical issues and offer potential to optimize existing solutions.
Through the synergistic use of knowledge and experience from the Institute for Sustainable Energy Supply at Jade University and LZH, problem-specific knowledge and state-of-the-art laser-based measurement and production methods are combined. This enables addressing critical issues, such as seawater-based electrolysis. However, even finished developments can be significantly improved with the help of new processes and perspectives.
Partners include the Institute for Electrical Energy Systems (IfES), the Institute for Turbomachinery and Fluid Dynamics (TFD) (both at Leibniz University Hannover), as well as the Clausthal Environmental Technology Research Center (CUTEC) of TU Clausthal.
