Swabian ‘Cyber Valley’ networks AI startups
The Stuttgart-Tübingen region is planning to bundle AI research activities, and thereby promote itself as the Swabian Cyber Valley. A new startup network in the field of intelligent systems has now been set up.

Members of the network will enjoy a multitude of benefits, including invites to participate in meet-ups, tech brunches, and talks. To join the network, however, startups need to meet a number of requirements: Their activities must be related to the field of intelligent systems and they must have connections in the region. The aim is to promote exchange between AI startups within the Cyber Valley ecosystem and to create a breeding ground for new ideas and innovation. The initiative launched with seven founding members, including Layer 7 AI , a consultancy founded by Tübingen scientists, and startup Reasonal , which develops machine learning algorithms.
Since companies usually face a multitude of challenges in their startup phase, startup networks are also extremely popular elsewhere in the country. BayStartUP offers individual coaching and consulting for industry in Bavaria, while Startup Netzwerk Bodensee , established by experienced founders, also focuses on networking.
