Hannover. With a total of about 1,400 participants, the next WomenPower careers conference will be held on 24 April, in the Convention Center complex at the Hannover Exhibition Center located in Hannover, Germany. It will be the seventeenth time that Deutsche Messe has staged this important careers conference, which is annually co-located with HANNOVER MESSE. Under the motto "Let's Get Louder in Times of Transformation", this year's conference will offer a highly inspirational and thought-provoking program revolving around four topics: Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Competence and Career.

The opening keynote for the conference will be given by Mohanna Azarmandi, Microsoft Corporation's youngest CLO (Chief Learning Officer) worldwide. The opening session will also feature a keynote by Cawa Younosi, Head of HR at SAP Germany, and the Engineer Powerwoman award-giving ceremony in honor of special career achievement, with a purse of € 5,000.

The opening session will be followed by a busy conference program comprising more than 40 workshops, presentations and panel discussions. One of the highlights of the program is the panel discussion on "Diversity in the Workplace – Business as Unusual" featuring Christian Berg of the AllBright Foundation, Tijen Onaran, the founder of the Global Digital Women network, Cawa Younosi from SAP Germany, and Laura Halfas from METRO AG.

Other highlights include a workshop by Marion Knaths, of sheboss, on "How to Communicate with Conviction and Authority and Take Ownership of Meetings"; a panel discussion on entrepreneurship and founding companies featuring several honorary consuls of Sweden and the Ambassador of Sweden in Germany, Per Thöresson; and a "Slam & Talks" event in which big-name companies take a dynamic and unconventional approach to pitching themselves as prospective employers to the assembled attendees.

Apart from its educational and information content, the conference is used by its attendees as a networking platform – which is why there is always a Networking Night on the eve of the conference. The Networking Night is a relaxed, informal setting where attendees and speakers can share ideas, compare notes and build their networks. This year they will be supported by networking coach Melanie Schütze (nushu).

The full WomenPower conference program is available online. The conference comprises presentations, panel discussions and workshops, plus a supporting exhibition. This year, more than 35 participating companies, industry associations, business networks, organizations and trainers will be providing information on career opportunities, courses of study, coaching and mentoring offerings as well as a range of employment, industrial relations and labor-market topics.

Participation at the event is by online registration at www.womenpower-kongress.de . Ticket prices start at €189. Students pay only € 25.

The conference's main sponsor is Microsoft . Other sponsors include Eaton Electrical Systems , the German Federal Defense Forces, Schaeffler , Amazon , Baker Hughes and Arvato Systems .
